Reflect • Recover • Rebuild

Walking alongside your healing journey, one step at a time

If you’re navigating the space between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming, you don’t have to do it alone.

I work with adults, couples, and families moving through deep life transitions—whether that looks like grief, depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, burnout, or the moment when old ways of living no longer fit.

My approach is rooted in mindfulness, solution-focused practices, and client-centered care. I walk beside you with compassion and patience as you find steadier ground within yourself.

Together we slow things down, explore what’s been weighing on you, and make sense of your inner world. From there, we work toward practical changes that help you relate to yourself and your life in ways that feel more aligned and sustainable.

I often work with people who know they’re ready for change but aren’t sure how to get from here to there. My role is to help you make meaning of your experiences, strengthen your resilience, and reconnect with yourself in a way that is guided by self-compassion rather than pressure or fear.

If this sounds like the support you'r looking for, I welcome the opportunity to connect with you.

I accept Husky insurance and private pay.

The Heart Space Counseling is a private pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Upon request, a superbill can be provided for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider.

If this feels like the right fit, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a superbill and how does it work?

A superbill is a detailed receipt of your session that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. It includes the service codes and provider information your insurance company needs. While I don’t bill insurance directly, a superbill gives you the option to receive partial reimbursement if your plan allows.

2. Why don’t you take more insurance companies?

In my experience, insurance companies tend to be more focused on diagnosis, clinical interventions, and progress on treatment plans, regardless of who you are as a person. I’m a self-pay provider so that our work stays centered on you — not insurance rules, requirements, or paperwork.

In our work together, we will look at the whole picture of your life, finding areas for actionable steps, deep self reflection, and challenging internal narratives.

If requested, I can provide a superbill for out-of-network claims.

3. What can I expect when beginning therapy?

Starting therapy can feel big, vulnerable, and exciting all at once. Together, we’ll:

  • Explore what brings you here and what you want to work on

  • Identify patterns, habits, and experiences that may be holding you back

  • Build tools to navigate emotions, stress, and transitions

  • Create a personalized plan for growth, insight, and healing

You are the expert in your own life — my role is to hold space, guide, and support you as you reconnect with yourself.

4. What if I can’t come in person?

I offer remote sessions via secure video call, so you can receive support from wherever you feel safe. In-person sessions are available at my studio if you prefer an immersive, grounded experience.

5. How long are sessions?

Standard sessions are 60 minutes for individuals and 75 minutes for couples/ families, but depending on your needs, we can schedule longer or more flexible sessions at prorated prices. The goal is to meet your needs rather than fit a rigid schedule.

6. How often should I come to therapy?

Most clients start weekly or every other week. Some choose a more flexible schedule once we establish momentum. It’s always based on your goals, capacity, and life circumstances.

7. Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything we discuss is private, except in rare circumstances required by law (risk of harm to self or others).

8. How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy is for anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to grow. You don’t need a formal diagnosis (although we will explore if a diagnosis fits your experience) — you only need the willingness to reflect, explore, and receive support. If you’re curious, anxious, burned out, or navigating life changes, therapy can help.

Many people wait to seek support until things feel overwhelming because they believe therapy is only for severe mental health issues.

In reality, therapy can also be a place for:

  • reflection

  • clarity

  • emotional support

  • personal growth

  • navigating difficult seasons of life

9. How do I get started?

You can reach out via my website, email, or phone. We’ll schedule a brief consultation to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine the best session structure and price range for you.
